Save Money Every Month
Energy efficiency is the watchword for today’s AC systems. They are engineered to produce more cooling power with less electricity, and do less harm to the earth’s atmosphere. Look for products with a good Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER). As of 2006, the minimum rating for a new air conditioner is 13. New models can deliver cooler air for 40 to 60 percent less than those that are just ten years old.
We use specific formulas to determine the best fit for your home. We will also check for coolant leaks and places where conditioned air leaks out of ducts, to ensure that whatever we install will perform as you expect.
Tax Credits and Rebates
Both the federal government and Florida Power and Light offer incentives to homeowners for new AC products. The government is offering a $300 tax credit, at least until the end of 2013, for new air conditioners that bear the Energy Star label. FPL offers rebates for new air conditioners and heat pumps which vary by machine and energy efficiency rating. These incentives come in addition to the monthly energy savings you enjoy with a new machine.
